a day at the temple

Chuà Pháp Hoa, meaning Dharma Lotus Temple, is a Buddhist temple located at 20 Butler Avenue, Pennington, South Australia, 5013.
Today at the Phap Hoa temple, it was the Celebration for the Great Patriarchs' Anniversary, Inauguration of the Triple Gem Stupa and Commemeoration of the 30 years establishment of Phap Hoa Temple. It's a mouthful that's for sure, but try saying it in Vietnamese.
I came in a bit earlier with my mother because she was singing for the charity gig that night, and since I don't really have much else to say, I'll just post the photos.

The banner is up for tomorrow so, sadly I am not from the future.

There was some free vegetarian food provided by the Temple
Vegetarian Hokkien noodles (it was a bit too oily for my tastes)

sâm bổ lượng (清補涼) with jackfruit slices, logan, lotus seeds, the works!

(Hạ Vy and Gia Huy, two Vietnamese singers from the US selling and signing albums)

And some more photos from around the temple.

 And then I broke the screen of my phone.... WAAAAAH ;A;

Now ending with a piece of advice.
Regardless of what religion you choose to believe, or to not believe,
Keep in mind that it's always healthy to adopt strong values and beliefs.
This may or may not be unique to only one religion, but an adaption of many.
Don't feel pressured to group into organised religion.
Don't feel pressured to believe something you have doubts about.

But don't feel pressured to have doubts when you have none.
Having a religion is no crime. Having no religion is no crime.
